More Speed Cameras on the Way?

Not content with fuel prices at record highs, parking and parking fines going up; the government now wants to get every spare penny from us. New Speed Cameras that calculate driver's speeds over several miles are being introduced. Not only will they work out average speeds they can cope with lane changing as well. The A13 in East London from Canning Town to the Gorsebrook interchange has been selected for trials; 34 cameras are being tested on this stretch of road. The Department of Transport claims that the introduction of the speed traps would be at the discretion of of Safety Camera Partnerships across the country. Headlights out of Alignment
