 Governments keep going on about 'Climate Change' and 'Global Warming' and wanting us to reduce our ‘Carbon Footprint’ and hence CO2 emissions. Street Signs and Advertising are Dangerous

 Why do we need so many street signs? Do you ever ask yourself this question? I know I do. Congestion Charging is Coming to Manchester

The government is spending £3 Billion of our money on improving public transport in Manchester in readiness for the introduction of congestion charging in 2013. I have recently noticed how dangerous breakdown recovery trucks can be. Driving along a local 'A' road the other night I was suddenly blinded by the headlights of a breakdown recovery vehicle. More Speed Cameras on the Way?

Not content with fuel prices at record highs, parking and parking fines going up; the government now wants to get every spare penny from us. New Speed Cameras that calculate driver's speeds over several miles are being introduced. Not only will they work out average speeds they can cope with lane changing as well. The net outcome will be lots of motorists losing their licence and extra revenue to the treasury. The A13 in East London from Canning Town to the Gorsebrook interchange has been selected for trials; 34 cameras are being tested on this stretch of road. They are also being tested in a 20mph residential zone in Camden; Scotland and Nottingham have pilot schemes. The Department of Transport claims that the introduction of the speed traps would be at the discretion of of Safety Camera Partnerships across the country. Headlights out of Alignment

Speed Bumps Before Roundabouts?
